Day 4
The Southwest: Ponce, Murals & Boquerón
A traffic stop that forced me to slow down (the ticket never stuck). Profound murals in Ponce. Reading Courage to Be Disliked under a massive tree. Blood, leather pants, and karaoke in Boquerón.

Left Boquerón heading back to San Juan via the northern route. Stopped at a beach near Arecibo for a car nap. Hours of coastline. Back to the capital by evening.
Eight days alone on the island — San Juan hostels, an El Yunque hike, a southwest-coast road trip, a speeding ticket that scared me into slowing down, and learning to be alone on purpose.
